We are the digital branch of White Snake Projects, a safe place to dream, imagine, experiment and challenge everything opera and music theater has been; to dare it to become something more.

We are unapologetic believers in musical storytelling. Song reaches places spoken words can’t. It slips past defenses, lands in the body, and stays there. It is humanity’s most potent tool for truth-telling, and our most powerful weapon for social justice. The stories we tell center voices that have been pushed to the margins, communities that have rarely seen themselves on any stage.

When the pandemic locked us out of theaters, we built the Pandemic Trilogy, three live digital operas, created in real time with artists scattered across the United States. We pushed into motion capture, experimental technology, and animation. We gave artists a lifeline and audiences a reason to lean in. That work earned us a United States patent and a permanent place in the Library of Congress Arts collection.

White Snake Digital is what comes next.

Audiences aren’t returning to concert halls. So we’re going to them, on their phones, tablets, laptops and cinema screens. We are passionately committed to reaching young audiences who’ve never been handed a program or hushed in a velvet seat. They’re out there, hungry for stories that move them.
