Synopsis
Alice in the Pandemic takes a deep dive down the rabbit hole into the elasticity of time, the unmooring of life, the heroism of doing one’s job, and the reconciliation of mother and daughter. The production uses newly developed technology which enables singers at remote locations to sing synchronously together as they interact with each other and their 3D avatars who lip sync in real time to live performance.
It is a cathartic response to the separation, dislocation, and isolation we all feel today and an acknowledgment of the sacrifice our medical heroes make every day as they put their mission to save lives before themselves.

Our ongoing series where we reach out to individuals in our community to create texts on activist themes.
Sing Out Strong: Remembered Voices is a live, virtual concert, featuring ten new songs written with families who lost loved ones to the virus. Premiering on March 11, the performance marks the day two years ago that the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 to be a pandemic. With the idea of creating a musical memorial to all the lives lost to COVID by focusing on a cross-section of specific stories, White Snake Projects located ten families willing to share their memories of their loved ones.
Sing Out Strong: Essential Voices

Our ongoing series where we reach out to individuals in our community to create texts on activist themes.
We’ve collected stories from essential workers about their experiences working on the front lines – from medical personnel, hospital housekeepers, grocery store workers, delivery people, and others. We’ve heard about what they do, how they’ve been coping, their hopes, their fears, their families and their despair – anything they’re moved to write about. We’ve paired their texts with composers to make songs about working in pandemic times so that the rest of us can be safe.
