Dr. Leah Zelnick graduated with her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from SUNY Stony Brook in May ‘11. She received her M.M. from Stony Brook, and  B.M. degree from Cleveland Institute of Music. A Suzuki teacher-trained and Massachusetts-licensed instructor, Dr. Zelnick retains a private studio in Concord, MA where she and her family currently live. In addition to teaching, she has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player across the U.S., Europe, and parts of Asia. Dr. Zelnick freelances around the Boston and New England areas, including with the Portland, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New Bedford symphonies.  She is a 2014-2015 Assets for Artists grant recipient. Her main teachers include William Preucil, Ani Kavafian, Pamela Frank, and Philip Setzer.
