Julie Marie Langevin is a proud AGMA and AEA Stage Manager as well as a Production Manager. She enjoys working in both opera and theatre – where she got her stage management start. Julie has called Boston Lyric Opera home for the last 4 years and Wolf Trap Opera has been her summer home for the last 3, including this summer—where she was the Production Manager for their pared-down in-person summer season. She is excited to be working on a digital opera with Whitesnake Projects for the first time. Additional opera stage management experience includes: Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, Des Moines Metro Opera in Iowa, and Fayeteville Opera in Arkansas. Favorite opera productions include Ariadne auf Naxos, The Handmaid’s Tale, Carmen, Rake’s Progress, The Rape of Lucretia, Marriage of Figaro, Idomeneo, Three Penny Opera, Orféo & Euridice, Dark Sisters, La boheme, Aida, and Falstaff. Favorite theatre productions include: Necessary Monsters, Hand to God, Appropriate (SpeakEasy Stage), The Moors, Marie & Rosetta, It’s A Wonderful Life, Secret Garden (Greater Boston Stage Co.), Barnum, Wild Party (Moonbox Productions), An Octaroon, and She Kills Monsters (Company One). She holds a BA from Bridgewater State University.
