Tenor Christopher Remkus maintains an affinity as a Vocal Artist dedicated to Opera, Art Song and Chamber Music throughout New England. Christopher recently performed with MassOpera as Tamino in an original production of “The Magic Flute”. He has also performed with Boston Opera Collaborative covering the role of Don José in “La Tragédie de Carmen”. A strong proponent of new operatic works, Christopher has debuted in other projects such as the world premiere of Mark Blitzstein’s “Sacco & Vanzetti” and “Keepers of the Light” at the Nahant Summer Music Festival. Other performances include “The Maid of Orleans” with Opera Company of Middlebury and “Madama Butterfly” with Hubbard Hall Opera. Christopher received his Graduate Diploma from New England Conservatory where he made his Jordan Hall debut as the title role in Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide.”
