Chris Carcione is a multi-disciplinary theater artist and educator. His creative work aims to combine live performance and digital technology, and to create participatory and environmental theatrical events. As a projection designer and live-feed operator Chris has worked on numerous national and international productions that have been presented at LaMama ETC, The Chicago International Puppet Festival, The New York State Puppet Festival, The Morris Museum, and Bard Summerscape, to name a few. Notable past collaborations include Demolishing Everything with Amazing Speed and Bismarck, both created by Dan Hurlin; and Shank’s Mare and Akutagawa, developed with and featuring 5th Generation Kuruma Ningyo puppet master Koryu Nishikawa V and American puppet artist Tom Lee. Chris earned a BS in Communication from Boston University and an MFA in Theater from Sarah Lawrence College. He is an Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at Towson University. www.christopherjcarcione.com
