Ami Bennitt is a seasoned media and marketing expert specializing in areas of arts and culture in Boston. She is the principal of Motor Media, Marketing & Management, a freelance firm. Prior she ran Ashmont Media, also as a publicist for Boston’s First Night. She served as Director of Marketing & PR for New Repertory Theatre, The Lyric Stage Company of Boston, New England Quilt Museum, and Boston Theatre Works. Further, she founded and ran two alternative art galleries SPACE 242 and The Paradise Lounge Gallery, where she programmed over sixty exhibitions. Further, she has guest curated and served as independent publicist for artists, galleries, and exhibitions for over a decade. Prior, she lived in New York, where she worked at record companies PolyGram Records and Sony Music; and then as an artist manager at HighNoonEntertainment and Nasty Little Man Public Relations. She managed international recording artists The Mighty Mighty Bosstones during the 90s earning double-platinum sales status, worldwide tours, magazine covers, and a number-one radio hit. At The University of Massachusetts (Amherst) she studied Arts and Entertainment Management. She resides in Dorchester.
